Sunday - At Sea

Our last full day on the ship! Seems like we have been on here a long time because... well we have! We will do some packing today as our three bags must be outside by 10 pm this evening.

The weather is a mix of cloud & rain showers with a moderate chop on the sea.

The usual coffee run was made and then some tax refund processing was completed. This is to get any GST back on purchases "we" have made. Kelly's new hoop earrings are on the list.

You just go online to the TRS site and fill out the forms with pertinent data, it then generates a QR code that Kelly will present to the TRS officer at the airport and in a couple weeks time we will get a credit onto the card for the GST amount. Very slick and easy.

Kelly did a quick accounting of our casino Profit/Loss sheet and we are well within our budgeted expenditures. This is always a good thing as we have another cruise planned next year and will use these funds for that one! The ship only takes US dollars.

We had a look at the daily planner and picked out a few activities to take in.

At 10:15 we joined the captain in the theater for his presentation on the ship, its systems, its senior Bridge Officers and crew. It was followed by a Q & A session and was very well done.

We went and watched the last round of the progressive golf tournament but sadly, neither Avis or George made the final list. Oh well.... next time!

Off to the Oceanview Cafe for a quick lunch with 2000 other people! It was busy so once finished, I headed back to the room to clean up. I met Kelly in the casino and we played some 3 card poker.

They don't cut corners at the shrimp station!

Desert Station

We then went to the Murder Mystery Game in the Club and managed to get all 25 songs... and the skill testing question at the end. (We had the answer from the last time we played the game!)

We went up to the room and finished our final packing and then set our bags outside the cabin for pickup. They will have them all ready to come off the ship in the morning. We just had to do some clothes planning for the next day's adventures in Sydney.

We met up with Avis, George, Cathy & Mike at the Eden Bar and managed to snag a nice table after a few minutes time. We enjoyed the background music as we discussed the day's events and our future travel plans. Off to Normandie for dinner and they placed us at a lovey window table for six. Very nice! Dinner was good and the timing perfect as a huge group of noisy folks arrived just as we finished up desert.

As it was ten to nine, we headed off to the final show in the theater. We said our goodbyes and hope to stay in contact with everyone. I am sure we will see them tomorrow at some point!

The Four Guys put on a great show doing their rendition of the Four Season's hits. It was very good and they had the place on their feet at the end. A quick stop at the casino and then off to bed.

Sydney tomorrow with a return to the Hyatt Regency in Darling Harbour.

Friday - Homeward Bound

It's a weird one as we arrive home before we leave Sydney... with the time change that is:-)  Up early as I hit the shower and then did...
