Australia and beyond!

Welcome aboard! 

Yes we are continuing our 2024 travel adventures with another cruise.... it was supposed to be a short cruise but morphed into a much larger one as we kept adding destinations :-).... hey it's a long way to travel so we are making the most of it!

We will fly into Sydney, Australia and after a few days, pick up the Celebrity Edge cruise ship for three back to back cruises that will include the Great Barrier Reef, Tasmania and New Zealand. As I have mentioned in the past, we do these blogs for two main reasons... 1) to keep our family & friends up to date on our trip and 2) to provide us with a history of our travels that we can easily revisit.  

So with that said, follow along on our newest adventure in the usual manner.  Remember that for time adjustment, Sydney is 18 hours ahead, Brisbane is 17 hours ahead (DST) and Auckland is 20 hours ahead of BC time so daily updates will be at odd hours.  

We have several excursions planned, both through the ship & private ones, that will take us to some of the interesting sites at several of the stops. Others we will just wing it :-) and it may simply be a walk around town.
