A bit of a repeat day for us…. Up early for an "in room coffee" and then some FaceTime & texting with friends & family back home. Great to be able to keep in touch this way!
My shower was complete and I watched some more RC competition activity in Arizona while Kelly got herself ready . The US Grand Prix is also happening but I’ll catch up with that later. :-)
When someone asks if two weeks is long enough to see the country just show them this picture of Australia. Helps to put the shear size of the country into context.... here it is. i.e.
We headed off for some breakfast and a nice flat white coffee. We went to Adria on the boardwalk and it was very good. Eggs Benny for me and a bacon & egg bun for Kelly.
The weather is much cooler today with overcast skies and the odd rain shower. Long pants and Arcteryx shells are in order, at least for the morning.
After breakfast we strolled over the Pyrmont Walking Bridge to the Maritime Museum where we enjoyed some great historical displays, a great James Cameron exhibition & videos of his exploits undersea. He truly is an amazing man.

We then crawled in and around the destroyer HMAS Vampire and then I solo crawled through the submarine HMAS Onslow. Very interesting to see how they lived in such tight quarters. See some of the more interesting pictures below. It would not be my choice of service... that's for sure!

After the sub experience, I met up with Kelly and we wandered over to the 150 year old Tall Ship "James Craig" that we walked by yesterday. It’s an amazing story of it’s rebirth here.

We stopped at the Pyrmont Bridge Hotel for a nice cold refreshing drink and the great views. Didn't take a picture though.
The weather has turned much warmer for the afternoon and we decided that it’s a good time to go get some wine for the ship and shop for some new shoes. :-)
Some interesting structures along the way.....
Kelly did manage to find some new shoes after several failed try-on attempts and with that accomplished, we went to Chat Thai for some yummy Thai food . It was very good. A quick stop at the local vintner and she grabbed a couple bottles of Squealing Pig wine for the ship tomorrow.
Back at the hotel, we relaxed and let dinner settle. My pedometer shows 12000 steps so I think it was still a good effort for the day. Doing the final math... Saturday 14,800, Sunday 25,700 and Monday 12,000 for a total of 52,500 steps so far for my old legs!
Tomorrow’s plan is breakfast then pack our bags and get ready to board our cruise ship. Excitement is building for the next chapter.
